Mindset is a powerful tool to support one’s health and wellbeing, particularly in the area of abundance.
An abundant mindset is a powerful state of believing you always have enough and that your needs will be taken care of. It’s not just about material wealth but more about trusting that you will always have enough of what you need at any given moment. That could be money but it could also be time, love, energy and more!
A scarcity mindset is the opposite, where you feel like there is never enough and you must compete with others to get your needs met. It is a way of thinking rooted in a deep fear of lack. You might work excessively or do things that go against your values to alleviate feelings of scarcity.
The good thing about adopting an abundant mindset is that this creates more abundance! This mindset allows you to operate from a place of love, not fear and encourages you to be generous and giving to others.
Adopting a belief that there is always enough for yourself and everyone else is a real game changer!
How do you adopt an Abundant Mindset?
Look at what you already have and feel a deep gratitude. Hopefully there is one area of your life where you already have abundance. Maybe you don’t have much money but you have a lot of family and friends who love you.
Even if you haven’t achieved your goals yet or you have little, you will find that there will always be other people who would love to have what you do. So, look for the good and appreciate it. You might like to start a gratitude journal to get into a daily habit of feeling abundant.
Hang around positive people who have the abundance mindset! It can be easy to get caught up in other people’s doom and gloom.
Challenge your old beliefs. Beliefs like being undeserving or that you aren’t ‘enough’ can hold you back from having abundance.
Become more mindful of your thoughts and self talk. If you are constantly saying that you don’t have enough money, time or energy… you never will! Relax, reframe and turn that scarcity talk into abundant talk!
Setting a positive intention each day before your feet hit the floor is a great way to shift your mindset.
